Date with my love

Last night, for our 9 year anniversary we went to Cinnamon. I was determined to get a good, spicy curry somewhere and even my love ( who tends to not like spice) agreed. We're pretty sick of cream and fish and potatoes, and even though I LOVE smoked salmon, there is only so much of it one can eat.... so Cinnamon it was!

We almost missed the hour long bus form Cromarty to Inverness. It was seriously the craziest bus ride ever; the young driver appeared to be new and left Cromarty earlier than he was supposed to, so 10 minutes into the journey he called someone and they told him to turn around and go back, which was totally pointless as there was no one waiting when he arrived. He drove like a maniac along the thin, winding country roads that seem more like one way than two lane. It was nuts! I kept thinking how glad I was that Kaya wasn't on the bus with us, in case something happened.

We got off across from the organic grocery store, Highland Whole Foods and picked up a few essential items as we don't often go into town. It's a great store!!!! I picked up some pitted dry black olives, which I am currently snacking on :)

After walking around the mall for a while, we headed over to Cinnamon and enjoyed a delicious king prawn curry, vegetable biriyani ( rice), garlic naan, and some veggie dishes. It was the best meal we have had to date here in Scotland.

It has been wonderful spending more time with my husband, now that Grandma has been staying with us for the last few weeks. I can't remember ever having so much free time with him, alone.

Hope you had a lovely Vday!!
